Gerhard "Krauti" Krautwurst actually comes from Bad Schönau in
Lower Austria. The trained cook followed for the first time in 1995
South-Tirol. At first, biking was just a hobby; "Krauti" researched this
network of trails in the region and soon recognized the potential as a bike paradise.
In 2001 he beat a second with training as a bike instructor
career, followed by joining the Mountainbike Südtirol Group
and at the beginning of 2005 the founding of the "Krauti's Bike Academy". His vision sounds promising: in ten years, the Rosengarten-Latemar region and the rest of South Tyrol should
be the best bike area in the world! As a founding member of the Südtiroler
Bikeguides is the constant quality improvement of the South Tyrolean guides
one of his greatest concerns. He loves the world of people
to bring mountain biking closer and can draw on a wealth of experience with more than one hundred riding technique training courses.
