The Association of South Tyrolean Bike Guides has been training bike guides for 2006. Compulsory condition for membership is to have completed the bike guide training programme or recognition of an alternative, at least equivalent, training course. Members not only benefit from a comprehensive education and advanced training programme but also from special legal and liability insurance that covers the bike guiding activities. There are several bike shops in South Tyrol with exclusive rates for members.
