100% Human Power No Motor

I do not ride an e-bike because, for me, the challenge lies in conquering climbs, trails, and long rides through my own fitness, endurance, and strength.

A motor can provide assistance, but it also replaces part of the physical effort. That is why I see traditional mountain biking and e-mountain biking as two different disciplines. In mountain biking, physical performance is at the center of the experience, while e-bikes rely on additional technological support.

For me, sweat, endurance, training, and the satisfaction of reaching the top through my own effort are essential parts of the sport. That is what makes mountain biking special.

Personally, I view the motor on an e-bike as technical doping, because it provides performance assistance that would otherwise require significantly more strength and endurance or impossible for the rider. For that reason, I consider e-biking to be its own discipline like a motocross rather than traditional mountain biking.

My passion remains mountain biking without a motor: pure human power, real challenge, and an authentic riding experience.
