Qualified, licenced and most experienced Mountain bike guides are members of the Association : “Südtiroler Mountainbike Guides”.

They can be recognized with the following logo:

Our Member Identity Card:

A Mountain bike Guide registered with the association of the “Südtiroler Mountainbike Guides” has completed the following minimum educational standard:

A minimum of 150 units ( 45 minutes) in the following fields:

1 Practical methodic excercises (teaching skills)

2 Mountainbike technique (improvement of own skills)

3 Leading tours (leading behavior: leading groups, orientiering, themed tours (tours with a topic),…

4 First aid

5 Environment and law

6 Methods

7 Basics of training (physiological)

8 Bike mechanics and equipment

9 Tourism

And also the duty of the complete participation from the association : “Südtiroler Mountainbike Guides” offering continuing educational programs, in order to stay at the highest educational standard in Europe.

Furthermore after the successful completion of this education, the registered Mountain bike guide is fully capable to organize tours in the tourism field and to lead, teach and instruct with bike technique training. The gained bike technical skills and the methodical skills of a South Tyrolian Mountain Bike Guides are guaranteed, the group he or she is leading is lead safely and environmentally aware and that he or she can give excellent bike technique instruction and tips.
